There are cats that go and do what they want. In the case of Olly Oliver, a six-year-old cat living in London, it means going to the supermarket locally every day. This cat was first spotted in November last year parading around a Sainsbury’s in Brockley.
Later, store security took him out of the premises, but this cat always came back. He loves to roam the store shelves and amuses Londoners while they shop. In fact, he’s quite famous amongst the locals, but Sainsbury’s doesn’t want to give him a mascot spot.
A cat refuses to leave the supermarket
A spokesperson for the store said : “He lives next door and is here every day, all the time. He’s not allowed to be here, the staff want him, but he’s a health and safety risk. Personally, I wish there were more stores that regularly welcome cats. »
“The cat is back at Sainsbury’s in Brockley” – tweeted one of the buyers.
“Security tried to get him out. But he comes right back. He’s there every day, all the time.” said the store spokesperson.
“The cat lives near the store, he is 6 years old, I have had him since he was 6 weeks old, his name is Olly Oliver and he has a brother”, explained Adam Oliver, the owner of the cat.
Asked about Olly’s disgruntled appearance, he replied: “It’s just his face.”
