Hamraoui case: custody lifted for the suspect

The parquet floor of Versailles indicated to The Teamthis Thursday evening, that the police custody of the man extracted from his cell in the prison of Lyon-Corbas (Rhône), a little earlier in the day, as part of the investigation into the attack on Kheira Hamraoui, had been lifted in the evening.

“Without indictment after its lifting”, said Maryvonne Caillibotte, the public prosecutor of Versailles (Yvelines). This detainee, already heard at the very beginning of this case by investigators from the banditry repression brigade (BRB) of the Versailles PJ, was taken back to his cell at the end of his hearing.

The Team revealed, this Thursday, the resumption of police custody of this 34-year-old man, who is currently serving a prison sentence for acts of racketeering and acts of torture and barbarism, and suspected of having made telephone calls anonymous to several teammates of Kheira Hamraoui to denigrate her. The suspect denied the charges. For their part, the Versailles investigators have become certain that he used the same line as that of this mysterious “raven”.
