Interviewed by Sky Sports, former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has spoken about the likely future departure of Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich. The 28-year-old German, who is free, thinks the Senegal international’s arrival at Bayern would be a great deal for the Bavarian club as well as for the German league. He thinks the former Messin will have no problem adjusting to Munich.
“It would be a crazy move for Bayern because he is one of Liverpool’s best players. If Bayern Munich manage to sign someone like him, you can only congratulate him and the Bundesliga. He would be another league star, so I would be very happy for the Bundesliga. Sadio Mané is very reserved, very down-to-earth. He also speaks a little German since his stay in Salzburg. I always got along very well with him, in fact everyone. If he goes to Germany, he won’t have any problems adapting.”Karius said of the 30-year-old striker who made 51 appearances for the Reds last season, scoring 23 goals and providing five assists.
